ITEA Review 2
OpenSCALING ITEA Review #2 (Nov. 2025)
In a web-meeting, Nov. 26, 2025, we had the opportunity to present our recent progress and key achievements of the OpenSCALING project to the reviewers of ITEA Steering Group.
We focused on the technical achievements from workpackages WP2, WP3, WP4 and WP5.
A strong synergy between WP2 and WP5 has developed over this year and the WP2 results centered around the first version of the Uncertainty Quantification standard and the early prototoypes of tools supporting it, demonstrated on two industrial use-cases.
New partners joined OpenSCALING consortium
New Partners XRG Simulation GmbH and ZF AG joined OpenSCALING German consortium (Sept. 2024)
We’re happy to welcome our additional partners XRG Simulation GmbH and ZF AG.
After the official approval of our Change Request by the ITEA steering group and the German authorities we’ve grown again to a number of 27 partners active in OpenSCALING.
With the new demonstrator D1.10, XRG contributes a scalable, hybrid, Modelica indoor compartment model with thermal loads and air inlets for energy-efficient air conditioning. This challenging application offers a flexible test application for scalable large equation systems in Modelica (WP3) as well as for the training and inference of PeNODEs (WP4).
