OpenSCALING Workshop #1 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (June, 2024)

Organized by LiU we enjoyed the comfort of a conference hotel to come together on June 22/23 in person with 23 representatives and participants joining via web access.

A strong emphasize had been on the eight different demonstrators presented by the task leaders. These gave an in-depth insight into the specific challenges regarding scalability in the different flavours and their requirements regarding the key innovations to be developed in the technological work packages.

On day two the leaders of the technological work packages summarized their identified technological requirements and needs for standardization. In the discussion the requirements were confirmed and refined.

Overall we were able to lay a solid foundation for the research, development and standardization efforts to be enforced over the course of this project.
